Alone: Lacking companion or companionship.

That was me this weekend. Tom was enjoying the sun in Cali while I was home. I was much more brave this time. I slept by myself in our house every night. Well Kiah slept over one night. I am so happy I have a younger sister who still wants to have a sleepover with me. Friday morning we got up (I skipped class). I made her waffles, did her hair, and made her a home lunch. The sixth graders were doing a strike against school lunch. Everyone in the sixth grade minus only 5 people brought home lunch. How cool is that? I never did anything like that in Elementary!

I am so grateful to my dear friend Kelly. Seriously I do not know what I would do without her. It seems people tend to drift apart sometimes, but time has only brought us closer. Friday night I was able to take Kelly to the Sizzler for the first time! And yes she grew up in Utah. It was such a fun dinner full of laughter and friends. After dinner we played Just Dance and went to a comedy improve show. Loved it at times, awkward at times. (run forrest run)

Saturday I found out I am running leg 7 of Ragnar! So excited! I looked at the course before our meeting and said I wanted leg 2, 4, or 7 (they were the easiest of course). We had Bunco at my parents and it was really fun. I have loved this new tradition my friends have started it really is so much fun and a great way for all of us to see each other more often! Saturday night I went to the basketball game with my parents. Best game ever! Talked the whole time, started paying attention with 3 minutes left and I am so glad I did! I love buzzer beaters!

Luckily my man came home Sunday morning and was able to come to church with me. It feels so much better having him home!

Random: Lacking any definite plan or order or purpose.

This post is defiantly lacking any purpose. Just some thoughts I have been having lately. First, why is it so hard to live in the present? Why must I always wonder about the future and hope for it. Things such as, I can't wait until I graduate, and have a real job. I sometimes wonder what it will be like to have kids if I am going to be honest. This in no way means I am ready or feel adequate to raise a child, but as a woman I have the thoughts of one day. . . I sometimes I wonder what it will be like not to have to worry about money (if that day ever happens). I wonder how it will be when my sisters get married and I am able to experience their wedding. I wonder if I will always live in Utah.

I know I am at a point in my life where my future is being decided but from now on I must focus on the present.

I am happy I was able to babysit today as extra income and extra joy. I am glad today my mom could help me in the kitchen. I am glad today I got to be a Zumba teacher with Ms. Greenwell. I am grateful for my calling in Young Women's and the spirit I get to feel every Tuesday. I am glad I finally got to see my love at 9pm tonight. I am so happy I get to sleep next to him every night(minus the farts). :) I am grateful for my life right now.

Addition

Addition:
A component that is added to something to improve it.

The Brewer family recently made two new additions to the family! Their names are Holden and Hazley! They are so sweet! Holden was born January 23rd and Hazley came January 10th! I love that there are now two babies that we get to pass around! Becoming an Aunt is one of the best things about my marriage!
p.s. When I am holding Holden it is Christmas morning and When I have Hazley we just finished a volleyball game so don't judge!

Shout out!

Grizz is big! Bigger than I thought he would be at least! He is between 25-30 pounds right now! There have been some stressful training moments but I love our pup!

His new favorite thing is to hang out in the tub. I don't get it? But every night without fail he will hope right in, sniff around, maybe lay down, and then hop out. Don't worry we both use the other shower!

Have I Mentioned I Married A Cowboy?

Or part time at least!

A couple of weeks ago Jesse Vaughn called Tom and asked if he wanted to ride a bull. Well if you know Tom of course he did! It was such a fun/scary night. Tons of city boys just riding bulls. It was a wild time! Don't mind my commentary!

It was a short victory but I was just happy he didn't get hurt! He did have a bruised butt for like a week but I am fine with that!

Holiday Cheermister!

(or however you spell it)
It has been a while since I have posted butso much as been going on with the holidays and school starting that I feel like I haven't had a spare minute! So here I am Saturday morning in my robe ready to post! Christmas was great! This was our first Christmas as a married couple so it was fun! It was so busy! We are lucky because both our families are very close and do a lot together! This just means we are double duty all the time! Our Christmas parties consisted of My Grandma's party, the Sonntag party, work party, friend party, Brewer party (the only one we missed) and the Poll Christmas eve party!

For New Year's we mixed it up a little this year. We headed up to Powder for some night boarding. Our friends got a condo/hotel room up there. We snow boarded until about 11:30 (ok I did two runs) then headed back to the
condo to watch the ball drop. When we left powder mountain it was -8 degrees! Crazy! It was fun to be able to celebrate with our friends that we don't see as much anymore! Overall the holidays were great and I am sad they are over! Now get ready for a picture over load! p.s. I am not good at blogging and don't know how to do the pics in order so they are just random! Enjoy!
Christmas Eve Party with my sisters!
What can I say? I love Grizz!
