Remedy: To Provide Relief For.

This weekend was a well needed remedy for me. So many things have been going on and it has been rough. This weekend we were able to watch conference in Bear Lake with the Brewer's. Bear Lake in the winter is already the best way to rest! You seriously lounge around all day and eat. What else could be better? On top of this I was able to hear the testimonies of the prophets of the Lord. I think when hard things happen is when you start questioning things. I was glad to hear this was normal and what makes us stronger. Overall, I am very grateful for this weekend.
p.s. I am also grateful for these 2, don't know what I would do without them.

Deceived: Misrepresentation or a misleading falsehood.

This afternoon before Tom left for work I was looking out our back window. Our neighbors got a new puppy and I love watching him! This puppy is going to be a GIANT dog! He is already the size of Grizz if not bigger. He is so funny to watch he will just run and run and run! Well today I noticed him playing with something but I couldn't figure out what it was. I went out there to look and it was a cat! It was just rolling back and forth but not getting up. The puppy would grab it through it up in the air, and bite it pretty hard. I yelled at Tom to come outside and begged him to go rescue the cat. Tom being my knight in shining armor grabbed a bucket and hopped the fence. He walked over to the cat, examined it, and through the thing up in the air. It was a stuffed animal! I guess it is some kind of dog toy. It is a cat that will roll around and everything! Me and Tom were defiantly deceived! I am still laughing about the whole thing! Hopefully our neighbors weren't looking through their window!

Bachelorette Party: A party that is given for a woman before her wedding that is usually attended only by women.

Last Friday that is exactly what happened for my friend Alexis. Now being mormon may limit you to what can be done on a bachelorette party. We were planning on having a spa night, glitter toes and all!! ( I know wild right?) Well luckily earlier that day a friend from my FAVORITE comedy improv show called. He said that he could pull Alexis up on stage if we came! So that is exactly what we did! It was sooo funny! Lexy had no idea! They pulled her up and auditioned to be her wedding singers! Here are just a couple. . . Enjoy!

Fatigue: Tire: Exhuast

This morning Tom had to leave early to help his brother Jeff. I am pretty sure he left around 5:30am. I say pretty sure because when he left I am pretty sure we had a conversation, and I am pretty sure it was him asking me to do something, and I am pretty sure I do not remember one word of the convo. Hope it wasn't important. Gotta love mornings.

Alone: Lacking companion or companionship.

That was me this weekend. Tom was enjoying the sun in Cali while I was home. I was much more brave this time. I slept by myself in our house every night. Well Kiah slept over one night. I am so happy I have a younger sister who still wants to have a sleepover with me. Friday morning we got up (I skipped class). I made her waffles, did her hair, and made her a home lunch. The sixth graders were doing a strike against school lunch. Everyone in the sixth grade minus only 5 people brought home lunch. How cool is that? I never did anything like that in Elementary!

I am so grateful to my dear friend Kelly. Seriously I do not know what I would do without her. It seems people tend to drift apart sometimes, but time has only brought us closer. Friday night I was able to take Kelly to the Sizzler for the first time! And yes she grew up in Utah. It was such a fun dinner full of laughter and friends. After dinner we played Just Dance and went to a comedy improve show. Loved it at times, awkward at times. (run forrest run)

Saturday I found out I am running leg 7 of Ragnar! So excited! I looked at the course before our meeting and said I wanted leg 2, 4, or 7 (they were the easiest of course). We had Bunco at my parents and it was really fun. I have loved this new tradition my friends have started it really is so much fun and a great way for all of us to see each other more often! Saturday night I went to the basketball game with my parents. Best game ever! Talked the whole time, started paying attention with 3 minutes left and I am so glad I did! I love buzzer beaters!

Luckily my man came home Sunday morning and was able to come to church with me. It feels so much better having him home!

Random: Lacking any definite plan or order or purpose.

This post is defiantly lacking any purpose. Just some thoughts I have been having lately. First, why is it so hard to live in the present? Why must I always wonder about the future and hope for it. Things such as, I can't wait until I graduate, and have a real job. I sometimes wonder what it will be like to have kids if I am going to be honest. This in no way means I am ready or feel adequate to raise a child, but as a woman I have the thoughts of one day. . . I sometimes I wonder what it will be like not to have to worry about money (if that day ever happens). I wonder how it will be when my sisters get married and I am able to experience their wedding. I wonder if I will always live in Utah.

I know I am at a point in my life where my future is being decided but from now on I must focus on the present.

I am happy I was able to babysit today as extra income and extra joy. I am glad today my mom could help me in the kitchen. I am glad today I got to be a Zumba teacher with Ms. Greenwell. I am grateful for my calling in Young Women's and the spirit I get to feel every Tuesday. I am glad I finally got to see my love at 9pm tonight. I am so happy I get to sleep next to him every night(minus the farts). :) I am grateful for my life right now.

Addition

Addition:
A component that is added to something to improve it.

The Brewer family recently made two new additions to the family! Their names are Holden and Hazley! They are so sweet! Holden was born January 23rd and Hazley came January 10th! I love that there are now two babies that we get to pass around! Becoming an Aunt is one of the best things about my marriage!
p.s. When I am holding Holden it is Christmas morning and When I have Hazley we just finished a volleyball game so don't judge!
